Digital Story Workshops
As part of a developing
project by the DCGE, students who study abroad or have studied
abroad in the past are being asked to develop Digital Stories:
two-minute narrated videos that capture the essence of their experiences abroad. It's where the storyteller comes to understand something differently or an event which precipitates change within the individual. The DCGE offers workshops to learn more about the process
of making a Digital Story for students who are interested. These
stories may be used in advertising, marketing, and informational
ventures by the DCGE in the future, in order to demonstrate to
prospective travelers the benefits and experiences of being
abroad.
Here are a few examples of digital stories provided by Quinnipiac Study Abroad Alumni:
- Rachael Cox- Paris France
- Christine Obierika - Florence, Italy,
- Lauren Gubrud - Brisbane, Australia,
- Stephanie Weady - Cork, Ireland,
- McKenzie Dray - London, England,
- Natalie Deduck - Buenos Aires, Argentine, 2013
